Privacy policy

AGsoundtrax is a production music store run by AGsoundtrax, LLC. This page says what we collect, why, and how to make us forget it. It is written in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

• The waiting list. If you leave your email before launch we store the address, the page you were trying to reach, and the page that sent you. It is used for one thing: telling you the store is open.
• Purchases. When you license music we keep what a license needs: your name, email, and what you licensed. Payment itself is handled by Stripe on their servers. Your card number never reaches ours, and we never see it.
• Email. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence so we know what we promised you.

The Chrome extension

Our Chrome extension is a window onto the account you already have. It never asks for your password and never sees one. You sign in on this website as usual, press Approve once, and your account issues the extension a key of its own.

• That key. We store only a one-way hash of it, the way a password is stored, so the copy we hold cannot be used to sign in as you. The key itself is kept by your browser, on that one computer, and is sent to nobody but us. You can revoke it at any time from the connect page, and revoking is immediate: that browser is cut off on its very next request.
• Your own name and email are shown in the extension so you can see which account is connected. They are read from your account and displayed; the extension stores neither.
• When it was last used, stamped at most once an hour, so you can recognise a browser in the list and disconnect one you no longer use.

The extension runs on exactly one web page, the connect page on this site, and on no other site you visit. It cannot read the pages you browse. It takes no payment: licensing, downloads and certificates open this website in a tab, where your session already lives.

What we do not collect

There are no advertising trackers, no analytics pixels, and no third-party scripts watching you browse. The site sets functional cookies only: one that remembers the pre-launch passcode, and one that signs our own staff into the admin console. Neither follows you anywhere.

Where your data lives

The catalogue and the waiting list live in a database hosted in Frankfurt, in the European Union, with the site served through Vercel. Payment records live with Stripe.

Who we share it with

Nobody, beyond the services named above that make the store work. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Ever.

Your rights

Write to info@agsoundtrax.com and we will show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Deletion requests are honoured within 30 days; records the law requires us to keep, such as tax records of a purchase, are kept only as long as the law says.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a change that affects what we collect will be announced before it takes effect.
